You’ll learn how to use VAN’s specialized organizing modules—from Jobs and Employers to Committee Saved Searches—to keep your member data accurate, actionable, and ready for outreach.

What you’ll learn:
- Jobs and Employers: Track detailed job and employer data—including bargaining units, job classes, campuses, shifts, and worksites—to organize members with precision.
- Committee Saved Searches: Learn how to use Saved Searches to segment committees, manage access, and ensure members stay synced as data updates in real time.
- Collect union cards with Online Actions: Create and manage digital authorization and membership cards, including signature options and employer selection fields.
- Leverage VAN’s organizing tools: Use survey questions for assessments, MiniVAN for mobile organizing, and the Turf Cutter for targeted house or worksite visits.
- E-list and voter file integration: Improve data accuracy with voter file lookups, bulk upload tools, and E-list management to verify membership records.
